Well-traveled Mason Wydra will soon head off to the Great Plains region.
And one of the top FCS programs in the country is getting a fast and versatile safety hellbent on keeping the Coyotes’ robust tradition in fifth gear. It’s the only pace Wydra knows.
“It’s a great football school, obviously, but when I went on my visit I really liked the facilities. They were super sweet,” said Wydra, the Rams’ 5-11, 171-pound athlete who officially signed with South Dakota Wednesday.
First-year head coach Travis Johansen and the 11 th -seeded Coyotes are currently prepping for Saturday’s NCAA second-round scrap at No. 6 Mercer in Macon, Georgia.
“They have a great business school, as well, which is what I want to major in.”
