MADISON (WKOW) -- Officials have identified a body that was recovered from Lake Monona in November .

The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office said Kyle D. Bonnell, 42, of Madison, was found in the lake near North Shore Drive.

Marine and Trail deputies, along with members of Madison Fire and Rescue, responded around 2 p.m. on Nov. 27 to a report of an unconscious person in the lake.

A forensic examination confirmed Bonnell died as a result of drowning.

The Dane County Sheriff's Office and Dane County Medical Examiner's Office are continuing to investigate.
