This year's Thanksgiving week was chaotic for travelers. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) lifted flight restrictions ahead of Thanksgiving , but lingering staffing shortages caused disruptions at major U.S. airports that left passengers stuck and understandably frustrated.
Granted, some passengers at least found ways to get through TSA lines faster . However, airlines were hit with some hurdles during the busiest Thanksgiving travel period in 15 years. One of them was an urgent mandatory recall of Airbus A320 aircraft affecting about 6,000 planes worldwide.
