After the Buffalo Bills claimed veteran cornerback Darius Slay Jr. off waivers on Wednesday, December 3, the team had to make room for him on their 53-man active roster. Thus, in a corresponding move, reserve cornerback and special teams ace Ja’Marcus Ingram has been released.
Ingram is a four-year NFL veteran who joined the Bills as an undrafted free agent following the 2022 NFL Draft. Ingram made significant contributions as a cornerback during Buffalo’s 2024 season — making 24 tackles (16 solo), two tackles for loss, one quarterback hit, one sack, four pass defenses, two interceptions, and one interception return for a 31-yard touchdown, per Pro Football Reference.
