A brief scare at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport forced part of a terminal to be cleared Wednesday evening before officials determined there was no threat.
BWI officials said that “at about 6 p.m., a portion of Concourse A was cleared for a law enforcement investigation.”
According to the airport, “regular operations resumed at about 6:30 p.m.”
The airport added, “We appreciate the patience of those impacted.”
No additional details were immediately released. It is unclear what caused the evacuation.
