A Kitchener tow truck operator, part of the Canadian Automobile Association’s network of providers, was struck and killed while assisting a stranded motorist east of London, a spokesperson for the organization said.
Ontario Provincial Police are searching for a vehicle of interest after the 42-year-old tow truck operator was hit while helping a driver on Highway 401 east of London at 7:18 a.m. Wednesday. He died at the scene, police said.
