Pat Narduzzi has been burned by the transfer portal and rewarded for his patience while developing high school players enough times to have learned that his best bet of hitting on high level talent is to find it through traditional recruiting. And that makes National Signing Day, a watered down event for most schools around the country, still a big deal at the Duratz Athletic Complex on Pittsburgh’s South Side.
“We want to still build our football team with high school football players,” Narduzzi said Wednesday. “I want to make sure that's clear and I couldn't be happier about the players and prospects we got in this class.”
The Panthers have brought in their high school recruits at a steady pace over the years, typically signing around 20 players and they added another 21 on Wednesday
