1Early morning burglary rattles Northeast DC business as MPD searches for suspect

WASHINGTON, DC — Just before dawn on Thanksgiving morning, a burglar broke into a business along H Street NE, causing property damage and fleeing with stolen merchandise in a crime that remains under investigation.

The incident took place around 5:00 a.m. on November 27 in the 500 block of H Street, Northeast. Responding officers arrived to find that suspects had forcibly entered the establishment, damaged property inside, and made off with items before escaping.
