GOSHEN, Ind. Some much-needed new affordable housing is now set to open in Goshen.
LaCasa Inc. has teamed up with Oaklawn and Bashor Children’s Home to bring the Lakeview Drive Apartments, a supportive community for people struggling with addiction, mental illness, and homelessness to life.
The development was made possible through funding from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA), the City of Goshen, Oaklawn, Bashor Children's Home, Community Foundation of Elkhart County and NeighborWorks America.
A total of seven buildings are planned for Oaklawn’s campus. The first three, offering 27 units, are nearing completion.
