MUNCIE, Ind. — A Delaware County jury convicted a woman of murder in the stabbing death of a man in Muncie earlier this year.
Shannon Miller, 33, was found guilty of murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and conspiracy to commit robbery resulting in serious bodily injury for the February 2025 death of Ronald David Wright Jr.
Officers found Wright's body lying in a pool of blood on E. Cornell Avenue just after midnight on Feb. 6. Investigators determined he had been stabbed near his left armpit.
According to police, Miller initially told detectives she saw Wright's body, but thought it was a blanket at first. During a second interview, she said she was scared of an ex-boyfriend, later identified as Chris McDougall. According to court records, she told police she "was positiv
