EAGAN, Minn. — A first-of-its-kind project opened to help homeless veterans in Eagan on Wednesday morning.
Veteran Village is a housing complex with 22 units providing safe and stable housing for veterans and their family members.
The goal is for residents to live there for at least two years, paying rent according to what they can afford.
The partners in charge of this project tell us 10 people are already living in the homes, and full occupancy is expected in a matter of weeks.
