After a mutual parting of ways with the Pittsburgh Steelers, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Darius Slay wanted to continue playing.

Ideally, the veteran cornerback may have hoped to clear waivers and pick his next spot, but Slay can’t be too upset after being claimed by the Buffalo Bills .

At 8-4, Buffalo is in a prime position to claim a playoff spot in the conference. They also have Josh Allen, a quarterback that Slay previously referred to as “amazing.” Slay’s comments on Allen came back in November of 2023 after Slay and the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Bills 37-34 in overtime.
