KENNEWICK, Wash. – An 18-year-old from Kennewick is being held on a $100,000 bail following his arrest for allegedly threatening a minor online.
According to investigators, the incident began on November 29 when Yonathan Solano-Abadillo sent an Instagram message requesting sexually explicit pictures and videos from a minor.
Police say he threatened to kill the minor and their family if his demands were not met. Kennewick Police were informed of these messages on December 1.
The following day, the 18-year-old was arrested at school and taken to the Benton County Jail.
Solano-Abadillo made his first court appearance today and is being held on $100,000 bail. Pending bail, Solano-Abadillo will remain in jail until at least Monday, December 8, when he is scheduled to return to court for his
