Arkansas reports fewer stillbirths in 2024, but fetal mortality rate still nation’s 7th highest

Arkansas' fetal mortality rate in 2024 narrowly improved from the previous year, although the state still ranked among the 10 worst in the nation, a report released Wednesday from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed.
