Five years ago, Susquehanna Township’s Yendor Mack watched Hanna as an eighth grader finish the 2021 season with an 0-10 record.
As soon as Mack took the field as a freshman, Hanna’s losing ways faded. Susquehanna Township made the playoffs in each season that Mack has been on the team.
In his final year, he was an integral part of Hanna’s undefeated regular season and run to the District 3 championship game.
Mack, a four-year starter, has helped establish a winning culture at Susquehanna Township. Now, he’s headed to Morgantown to suit up for West Virginia to continue his winning ways.
“100 percent,” Mack said when asked if a winning culture was important to him. “It’s important because morale is up. Winning brings a lot of good things.”
