FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Northwest Arkansas philanthropist and former Tyson Foods general counsel Jim Blair has passed away at 90 years old.
Blair was the primary benefactor of the Fayetteville Public Library, donating millions over the years and eventually becoming its namesake.
One of Blair's final public appearances was at the library, which hosted a screening of "Nothing But the Truth: The Improbable Life of an Arkansas Giant," a documentary made in his honor.
The screening, held in October 2025, was attended by former president and Arkansas governor Bill Clinton and his wife, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, who were longtime friends of Blair.
Blair served as the general counsel at Tyson Foods for two decades. The Tyson family shared the following statement with 5NEWS on D
