LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — This Thursday, a new head Hog will be formally introduced to Razorback nation.

On December 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., the Arkansas Razorbacks will hold a press conference where Ryan Silverfield will be officially introduced as the new head coach of Razorback football.

After a two-month-long coaching search, the University of Arkansas officially announced it had hired Silverfield to be the 35th head coach in program history on November 30, 2025.

Silverfield began his college coaching career during his senior year of high school in 2000 at Hampden–Sydney College in Virginia.

Most recently, he spent several seasons with the Memphis Tigers.
