LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville’s Charles Booker announced Wednesday that he will be running again for the soon-to-be vacant seat left by Sen. Mitch McConnell.
Six days ago, Booker announced that he was considering the run.
“Family, I know we are all reflecting on the magnitude of this moment in time. I certainly am. There have been calls for me to make another run for U.S. Senate. I want you to know I am taking a strong look at it. I know the status quo is crushing us. At the same time, the movement of regular people standing up to hate, corruption, and big money greed is growing every day. If we lock arms, I know this moment is our,” Booker wrote.
