WELLSTON, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Evelyn Jones has been living with a hole in her ceiling since June, and she says her property management company has ignored her repeated requests for repairs.

“I don’t know what to do, I don’t want that to fall down, I called the firemen, the policeman... They couldn’t do anything,” Jones said.

Jones said the hole leaks water every time it rains or snows. She keeps a bucket positioned to catch the dripping water.

“That’s why I have the bucket here, it’s going to start leaking, and then I started hearing water behind the wall,” she said.

Jones said that in her 25 years of renting the Wellston home, the roof has not been maintained. She said water has reached a light bulb in her ceiling.

“It’s water that came in that bulb... that’s dangerous,” Jones said
