ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - As temperatures drop again on Wednesday night, it’s another chance for slush and water to potentially refreeze on area roads.
In the Soulard neighborhood, residents are seeing less to worry about after efforts to clear the roads.
“Absolute night and day difference,” said Terry Hoffman, chairperson of the Soulard Community Improvement District.
On Wednesday morning, in parts of Soulard on the side streets and alleys, it was a brutal commute to school and work. Hoffman said the main streets that are part of the snow routes in the neighborhood were cleared and treated by the City of St. Louis, they were largely in good shape. The side streets, though, aren’t included in the snow routes.
