OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -Elkhorn North honored three football signees on National Signing Day, including Nebraska-bound linebacker Jase Reynolds.

Fellow linebacker Barry Fries signed with Iowa State while wide receiver Alex Uchtman made it official with South Dakota State.

Reynolds was the only signee from the Cornhusker State to sign with the Huskers.

“Nebraska has been the school I grew up rooting for my whole life, they recruited me the hardest out of everyone,” he said. “They’ve got great people there on staff coach Dvoracek, coach Rhule. I trust their process in what they’re building there.”

Reynolds was not fazed by Monday’s firing of defensive coordinator John Butler.
