HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The Adams Central boys basketball team fell one win short of reaching the state tournament last season, now the Patriots are ready to compete again.

Adams Central opens their season on Thursday at Aurora.

That’s our conference champion, we played last year, they were 21-4. They got some really good guards back. Coach Asher is one of the best coaches in the state, so anytime you play a conference team that’s a really good team to open the season, you know you got to be ready on day one," said Patriots coach Zac Foster.

Adams Central’s first home game of the year is against York on Friday.
