SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - For the second time in as many games, Isaac Bruns set a new career high with 28 points, but South Dakota basketball would fall 77-71 to Portland State Wednesday night in its first game of the Big Sky – Summit Challenge.

Bruns finished the contest 8-of-17 from the field and 10-13 from the free throw line while nearly securing his first double-double of the season with nine rebounds. He also had a career high four steals and dished out three assists.

Cameron Fens added 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting to go with six rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Uzziah Buntyn was the other Coyote in double-digit scoring with 11 points and had a pair of steals.
