Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft just punched their ticket to Canton’s doorstep after being named finalists by the blue-ribbon committee on Wednesday.
Belichick is the solo finalist in the coaching lane, Kraft stands alone in the contributor lane, and the senior category rolled out the red carpet for Ken Anderson, Roger Craig, and L.C. Greenwood.
But after the announcement, the 73-year-old coach hopped on Instagram with a rare, humble thank-you. Even giving props to Kraft and the Patriots, the same team that cut him loose less than two years ago. He wrote, “To be in this position is extremely humbling… I am honored to be named the Coaching Finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026…”
