Plans for a new shop next to a Nuneaton community centre have been revealed. It would sit next to the Bermuda Phoenix Centre off Bermuda Road.

It is one of two applications that have been submitted in the area, alongside a plan for 42 affordable retirement living apartments on the current car park next to the community centre. The application for the new shop said there was 'limited access to shops' in the area.

The proposal did not say which firm would run the 'local retail store' or if any business was on board yet. But it said it would have a pitched roof to compliment the existing community centre and also the proposed retirement apartmen
