Harrisburg police have filed charges against a man found injured at the site of a fatal stabbing in Harrisburg last week.
The man, identified as Rocheny Clerge, was found by police responding to a call of a domestic assault on Nov. 25 on the 300 block of South 17th Street, along with the body of a dead woman.
Police identified the woman, who had been stabbed to death, as 31-year-old Violette Pierre.
According to a police report, Clerge was found with a wound to his neck and, after life-saving measures were performed, was rushed to a hospital for care.
Investigators and the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office determined that Clerge’s wound was self-inflicted.
He has been charged with the murder of Pierre, as well as possession of an instrument of a crime.
