SILVER SPRING TOWNSHIP –- The Gettysburg boys wrestling team opened its 2025-26 regular season Wednesday night and had a parade.
A parade of pins. Eight of them, to be exact, with two technical falls thrown in, en route to a dominating 61-10 victory over Cumberland Valley in a Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth Division match at CV’s Dome Gym.

“We always expect to dominate when we go out there,” said 133-pound senior Will Yordy, who picked up the 121 st win of his career with a pin over CV’s Vian Patel in 16 seconds.
