A man has been ordered to pay a mum-of-two £100 in compensation after he called her 'fat' during an argument. Aaron Quinn, 33, was said to have caused Sarah Allen ''distress'' after he berated her about her weight following another bust up with a different neighbour.
When quizzed Quinn, of Chapel Lane in Burton Wood, Warrington , said he was suffering from bouts of insomnia and had been grieving over the death of his mother. But prosecutors said his fat-shaming of Ms Allen was a ''sustained incident.''
At Warrington Magistrates' Court , Quinn admitted using insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress and criminal damage to a wall light. He was also fined £80 with a £114 surcharge and was issued with a 12 month restraining order banning him from
