A suspect has been charged with the murder of a 22-year-old man on a busy high street in north west London.
Police launched a murder investigation after Micah Whitely died in hospital following a stabbing on High Road, Wembley , just before 1pm on Monday.
Paramedics battled to save his life in front of horrified shoppers near a Post Office.
Mr Whitely was then rushed to hospital, where he sadly died.
Kevon Jenkins, 22, of Wharton Close, Brent, will appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on Thursday accused of murder and possession of a pointed and bladed article, namely a knife.
The deceased’s family continue to be supported by specialist officers, the Metropolitan Police said.
