A landmark restaurant on the outskirts of Hershey is undergoing a facelift with a targeted spring 2026 debut.
Paul and Brenda Sheehan are renovating the former Abraham’s Family Restaurant at 300 S. Hershey Road in West Hanover Township into The Hershey Tavern.
The owners of The Hershey Bistro in Conewago Township said the tavern will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
The project is several years in the making for the couple, who had been scouring real estate searching for the perfect location for a second restaurant.
“We spent a lot of time looking at other properties. None of them really checked off all the boxes,” Paul Sheehan said. “I think it’s one of the most perfect locations we could have found.”
It helped the restaurant is well-known in the community.
