LEWISBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A routine call to a local Walmart turned into an arrest Saturday after Lewisburg Police say a woman was caught inhaling air duster while walking through the store.
According to Patrolman Thomas of the Lewisburg Police Department, officers responded to a disturbance at the Walmart on Jefferson Street North on December 1, 2025. When Thomas arrived, he found Sgt. Williams with the suspect — later identified as Vicky Scott — along with several members of Walmart’s Asset Protection team.
Walmart API employees reported witnessing Scott inhale multiple cans of air duster as she moved through the aisles. She also allegedly had a shopping cart containing unpaid merchandise, including an air duster can, two AV accessories, and a Mountain Dew, totaling $24.00.
