Sam Fender classics to kick off Tyne-Wear derby day as tribute act to perform at Newcastle fanzone

Sam Fender classics will kick off derby day action in Newcastle this month ahead of the Magpie's clash against the Black Cats. Sunderland welcome Newcastle United to the Stadium of Light on December 14 for the first Tyne-Wear derby of the season.

But back in the Toon, fans without tickets to the big game can watch the action at one of the city's fanzones, including NX Newcastle’s huge indoor fanzone, where Sam Fender tribute, Scam Fender, will take to the stage during the build up to the match.

Scam Fender will belt out their namesake’s best-loved North Shields anthems along with highlights from a bulging back catalogue of fan favourite covers before the big screen action gets underway.
