WASHINGTON, D.C. (KCTV) - Tom Brady, Shaquille O’Neal and more will reveal which teams Kansas City will host in the 2026 World Cup.
FIFA said the sports legends will serve as draw assistants alongside former England captain Rio Ferdinand and broadcaster Samantha Johnson.
The event is set to happen at noon ET on Friday, Dec. 5, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

Kansas City is expected to finally learn which of the 48 teams will compete in the metro during the historic tournament.
Joining Ferdinand, the event’s host, FIFA indicated that several American sports legends will help reveal the matchups:
