Nigel Farage ’s Reform UK has received one of the largest donations in British political history, it was revealed on Thursday.

Christopher Harborne gave the right wing political party £9million on August 1, according to filings from the Electoral Commission released on Thursday.

The bumper donation meant Reform raised more cash than any other party in the UK between July and September.

In total the party raked in just over £10.5million, far out stripping Kemi Badenoch’s Conservatives, which accepted just under £7million, and Labour on £2.564million.

The Liberal Democrats were behind on £2,069,874, while the Green party accepted just £344,300.
