An Arctic cold front moving across central Pennsylvania today will bring light snow, gusty winds and rapidly falling temperatures , with near-record cold expected by Friday morning.

Single-digit temperatures are forecast for parts of the region overnight.

The cold front is progressing from northwest to southeast throughout today, reaching Bradford by noon and Harrisburg by 6 p.m. While snow accumulations will be minimal for most areas, the northern tier could see up to an inch of snow. Wind gusts may reach 30 mph in higher elevations during the day.
