We are still generally in what I could call an active weather pattern. There are numerous smaller storm systems heading through the Great Lakes over the next two weeks. One or two of these storms look to bring widespread snow, but not extremely heavy snow.
Weekend Snow System on the Way
We should be ready for a widespread but light snow system set to move across the state from Friday night into Saturday morning. The system will enter from the west and gradually lose intensity as it moves southeast. Areas from Pellston and Traverse City down to Grand Rapids and Holland can expect periods of light to moderate snow beginning Friday evening. By Saturday morning, lingering snow showers will be possible across the state. While not a major storm, travel conditions will be impacted, as cold road
