OMAHA, Neb. —
One of the men convicted in a deadly mass shooting in Omaha will serve decades behind bars.
William Willis, who was found guilty of assault and discharging a firearm , was sentenced to 55 to 92 years in prison.

Prosecutors said in 2023 Willis, Jarvis Hesseltine and William Brown stole a car, drove to a party near 24th and Decatur streets and started firing.
Lamarantae Swift died and five others were injured in the shooting.
Hesseltine was found guilty of manslaughter and is scheduled to be sentenced next year. Brown previously pleaded not guilty. His case is still going through court.
