COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Officers are investigating after responding to a reported armed robbery early Thursday morning.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers received the report at 2:14 a.m. in the 6400 block of Issaquah Drive.

Police said a convenience store clerk reported a male suspect entered the business, showed a pistol, and demanded cash and merchandise before leaving the scene on foot.

The clerk was not injured.

The investigation is in the beginning stages, and no arrests have been made. CSPD did not release any suspect information.
