Devin Williams heard the Bronx cheer from Yankees fans for most of the 2025 season. Now, he may have gotten the last laugh on his way out the door to Flushing.
Shortly after signing his three-year, $51 million contract with the Mets on Wednesday, Williams took to social media to take a shot at the fans who booed him throughout his ugly 2025 campaign.
“For a bunch of people that didn’t want me back on your team, [y’all] sure are mad in the [DMs],” Williams wrote on Instagram, adding a laughing emoji at the end.
