ARLINGTON, Texas — The Sheraton Arlington Hotel will permanently close, and 110 people will lose their jobs in the new year, according to filings with the state.
Urbana Varro Hospitality Management Company LLC filed a notice under the federal WARN Act that it would close The Sheraton Arlington Hotel and lay off 110 people effective Feb. 15, 2026.
The notice was issued Dec. 3.
The Sheraton Arlington Hotel is located near the Arlington Convention Center. The hotel is also near AT&T and Choctaw Stadium and Six Flags Over Texas off of Tom Landry Freeway. It wasn't immediately clear why the hotel is closing.
It's unclear why the hotel is scheduled to close.
