A brand new report from Pathways to Education Canada is shedding light on the growing crisis among Canada’s young people.

Canada’s Hidden Youth Crisis, a report presented jointly by Pathways to Education and the Students Commission of Canada, presents insights into the growing equity gap among families and how it’s causing Canadian youth to fall further behind academically, financially, socially and emotionally — issues compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over four months the Students Commission of Canada hosted 96 focus groups with 577 participants — 283 students, 201 program staff, 43 program graduates and 50 parents and caregivers — to paint a clearer picture of the challenges facing young people today.
