Everything we know so far after teenager attacked and racially abused in Birmingham city centre.

A teenage girl was the victim of a physical assault and racial abuse in the heart of Birmingham city centre. The incident took place on Bridge Street , near the Hyatt Regency hotel, at approximately 4:40 pm on Saturday, November 8.

West Midlands Police have launched an investigation into the serious hate crime and have so far been unable to identify the attacker. Detectives have carried out multiple enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage, but require public assistance to progress the case.
