Penn State running back Kaytron Allen and guard Vega Ioane were named Thursday to the All-Big Ten first-team offense.

Allen was recognized by the coaches and media panel after he rushed for 1,303 yards and 15 touchdowns in the regular season. He received All-Big Ten honorable mention last season from the media.

He ranks second in the Big Ten in rushing behind Nebraska’s Emmett Johnson, who was voted the Running Back of the Year.

Ioane, a two-year starter, was voted to the first team by the media panel and to the second team by the coaches. He was selected to the second team by the coaches and the media last season.

Five Penn State players received honorable mention: running back Nick Singleton, offensive linemen Drew Shelton, Nolan Rucci and Nick Dawkins and tight end Khalil Dinkins.
