NORRISTOWN — A Norristown man must report to jail after the holidays for his role in burglarizing a home in Lower Salford Township.
Tyrone Griffin, 39, of the 700 block of Violet Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 11½ to 23 months in the county jail after he pleaded guilty to charges of burglary and conspiracy to engage in burglary in connection with the July 2024 break-in at a home along Cressman Road in Lower Salford.
Judge William R. Carpenter, who accepted a plea agreement in the case, also ordered Griffin to complete 23 months of probation consecutive to parole, meaning Griffin will be under court supervision for about four years.
Carpenter ordered Griffin to report to the jail in Lower Providence on Jan. 2, 2026, to begin serving the period of incarceration.
