COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The South Carolina Gamecocks have earned another high-profile commitment for next season.

Landon Duckworth, a 4-star quarterback out of Jackson, Alabama, committed to the Garnet and Black Thursday afternoon. Duckworth will now officially join the Gamecocks after announcing his intentions to sign with the team over the summer.

Duckworth was ranked 10th among quarterbacks in the class of 2026.

After originally committing to South Carolina in 2023, the quarterback decommitted to re-enter the recruiting process in 2024.

South Carolina beat out LSU, Auburn, Alabama State, and Appalachian State during recruiting before Duckworth officially committed.
