On Thursday afternoon, the CFL club announced a one-year contract extension for Harris, who was named the Grey Cup MVP in Saskatchewan’s victory over the Montreal Alouettes last month. Article content Article content
After hoisting the Grey Cup, Harris — who was a pending free agent — expressed his desire to be back in Saskatchewan for a fourth season while saying he’d be “shocked” if chose to retire instead. General manager Jeremy O’Day also made it known that the club would like Harris in 2026 as the team looks to defend their title from 2025.
