Court records reveal more details about the alleged incident at Geneva High School that led to the arrest of the former assistant principal.

Junior Nunez, 50, of Geneva, was arrested on December 2 and charged with:

Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class A misdemeanor)

Harassment in the Second Degree (violation)

Court records allege that on November 18, Nunez put his arm around a student in a "head lock" and proceeded to kiss the student on the cheek or neck area, causing the student to "be alarmed."

Geneva City School District released a statement saying that Nunez was immediately placed on administrative leave from his position as assistant principal when the district became aware of the concerns. The district stated that he has since resigned and will no longer be employed with
