The vast majority of children in Britain are worried about the climate crisis, with 86 per cent now afraid for the future of the planet.

New research found that 94 per cent of kids believe everyone should live as greenly as possible and view smart tech like solar panels, EV chargers, smart thermostats and heat pumps as officially cool. Kids rate voice-controlled smart lights (43 per cent), robot vacuums (41 per cent), smart fridges (39 per cent) and solar panels (29 per cent) as some of the most desirable things you can have at home, according to research by eco-tech company Hive.
