WATERTOWN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The exterior of a Watertown business is damaged after a fire on Thursday afternoon.

According to KWAT Radio , it happened Thursday Morning at ‘The Local’, a business on Kemp Avenue that has not yet opened.

Once on the scene, crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire.

The business posted photos on Facebook, saying the fire was contained to the patio, and they only received minor smoke damage.

They even poked fun at the moment, saying, “Truly the hottest place in town!”
