Target's deal that gives certain shoppers a 10% reduction on its gift cards is returning this weekend.

The Minneapolis retailer has confirmed that Target Circle members will be able to buy up to $500 of Target gift cards at a discount on Saturday and Sunday, both online and in stores.

It means that someone spending $500 on gift cards will only pay $450, effectively a $50 saving on future purchases at Target.

Target Circle is free to join, with sign-ups available through the Target app or via Target.com.

According to an announcement, more than six million gift cards were sold during last year's discount event.
